Holiday Sneak Peek for Pals Paper Arts 262

Welcome to a Pals Paper Arts challenge with a little Holiday Sneak Peek. The Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog for 2015 will be releasing in just under a month and what better way to whet your whistle than to give you a glimpse of what is coming up?

As a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I had the luxury of getting my hands on some of the new products in our upcoming catalog and one of the must-haves on my list was the Sleigh Ride Edgelits. This set of three wafer-thin dies cuts the edges of your cardstock into a delightful winter scene. I used two on my card.

Another fantastic item was the Soft Falling Snow Textured Impressions Embossing Folder which created the beautiful background.

After cutting and embossing my cardstock, I used Stamping Sponges and Whisper White Craft ink to pounce some light color over the top edges of all my cut-out pieces. I think it really brings out the snowy effect and adds dimension to the otherwise flat cardstock.

“Have a Cozy Christmas” from the Cozy Christmas stamp set was heat embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. A touch of 1/8″ Gold Ribbon was tied on to add a little more bling.
Be sure to check out what others are making for this challenge at Pals Paper Arts.

Sorry I can’t link up the soon-to-be-released Holiday Catalog items just yet, but in the meantime, here are the other products you’ll need if you want to recreate this card.
