I Heart U

Stampin’ Up! 2015–2016 In Colors are featured in this week’s Global Design Project challenge #GDP009. Tip Top Taupe, Mint Macaron and Watermelon Wonder are my favorite of the 5 In Colors introduced this past Spring. I couldn’t be happier to share a fun, simple card that uses these colors today.

I Heart You for GDP009

Global Design Project GDP009
There is nothing I love more than a simple, eye-catching layout that combines beautiful colors and fun images. Today’s images come from the Pictogram Punches stamp set.

Masking parts of the sentiment, makes it simple to use multiple colors with one stamp. The small hearts over the Mint Macaron leaves are made using the striped heart in the stamp set, but punched out using the Hearts Border Punch.

A stripe of Mint Macaron cardstock is embellished using the Simply Scored score board and a stylus to create diagonal stripes that echo the hearts on the card.

I hope you enjoyed my card today. Visit Global Design Project and join the fun we are having over there. It’s easy; just make a card or other project using the challenge colors and upload using the link-up on the challenge page. Hope to see your project soon.
