Global Design Project GDP021

This was not an easy color combination for me. Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo and Wisteria Wonder are all beautiful colors, but for one reason or another I struggled to come up with a card I was willing to share with you today, but I finally came round to it.

I started by gathering all the papers and embellishments I had in the challenge colors to get me started. That was not much help though. I must have run through ten different ideas before I came to this one.

Today I used the Friends & Flowers stamp set and Festive Flower Builder Punch to create this bright flower. The background stamp from the You’ve Got This stamp set added a little texture to the background and the sentiment comes from the Bloomin’ Love stamp set.

I hope you’ll give this combination a try. Check out what the Design Team came up with at the Global Design Project. Their work is amazing and inspiring.

Is there no end to your talent, Shawn? Every detail on this card is perfect. The background you can stay out behind the flower gives perfect texture, and the placement of the flower and background image on the left side of the card is great. I love how you have used these colors.
