Grateful Bunch by Stampin' Up!

We are such a grateful bunch at Global Design Project. That’s why this week we are featuring thank you-themed cards for all of you.

Today, I’m featuring the Grateful Bunch Bundle by Stampin’ Up! I thought it was appropriate for our theme challenge this week because we truly are one grateful bunch. I don’t think anyone could have guessed how popular or successful our little challenge would be when Kylie Bertucci and Louise Sharp asked us to join this amazing group.

So many stampers from around the world join us each week and take us up on our challenges and I wish I could thank each and every one personally. I do want to call out one designer however; Carolina Evans.

Carolina from Melbourne, Australia has been with us since the beginning; playing along and sharing fun, bright projects nearly every week. She also shares some of her best ideas over Periscope and I’ve been able to watch her create live. She has a great personality and such commitment to her craft, it is so inspiring to watch. So here’s to you, Carolina, because I am totally grateful.

Grateful Bunch by Stampin' Up!

My card was made fairly simply with one stamp set and punch from the 2016 Occasions Catalog. The Grateful Bunch stamp set and Blossom Bunch Punch are available in a bundle. The flowers were stamped onto watercolor paper in Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum and Blackberry Bliss ink. I colored them using a Blender Pen in the same colors and punched them out.

Blackberry Bliss was also used to stamp the background image and sentiment on this square card. I arranged the flowers sporadically on the card and settled on the layout before gluing them down.

I hope you enjoyed the card today and join us for this week’s Global Design Project challenge. Make a thank you card and share it with us. You just may be chosen as a winner.

Very simple but elegant card! I think it is funny this is the second time I have seen someone comment that they don’t like this stamp set. I purchased this set on a whim and have loved all the cards I have made with it!

Louise and I were chatting on the phone today – I think you must have heard our conversation Shawn! We said the exact same thing – that we can’t believe how incredibly successful the Global Design Project challenge blog is. The combination of incredibly talented designers and the wonderful support of those that play along is just the right fit. Its a community of friends not just showing craft and I LOVE it. Carolina is going to be thrilled when she sees this post! I agree she is so talented and supportive of the Global Design Project – I am so happy to read that you picked her. Love your card as I always do when you said yes to being part of the Global Design Project – you may have heard Louise and I screaming from Australia…..
