Stampin' Up! In Colors - Peekaboo Peach

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s June Blog Hop! Stampin’ Up!’s 2016 Annual Catalog introduced us to five new In Colors: Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum. What a beautiful collection of versatile colors! Today’s Blog Hop is filled with inspiring projects that feature each artist’s favorite new In Color. After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Layering Love Stamp Set by Stampin' Up!

I’ll admit having a hard time choosing which color to showcase for today’s blog hop. Although all of the colors really are beautiful, I couldn’t resist sharing Peekaboo Peach. With Dapper Denim and Flirty Flamingo in the mix, I was afraid Peekaboo Peach may get overlooked, but it truly is a bright, sunny color that would make a great addition to your collection.

To focus on the color, I used Whisper White cardstock as the backdrop to help the peach pop. I stamped a greeting from the Layering Love stamp set and cut out a shape using one of the adorable hearts in the  Sweet & Sassy Framelits Dies set. The heart is set off of the background with the leaves from the Sheltering Tree stamp set. The heart is also raised over a folded piece of Peekaboo Peach Ruched Ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals and a thin border of Peekaboo Peach was added to break up the white background.

Stampin' Up! Labeler Alphabet Photopolymer Stamp Set

Labeler Alphabet Photopolymer Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up!

One of my favorite must-have stamp sets in this year’s Annual Catalog is Labeler Alphabet. I love the analog look of these letters. You can use the letters individually or to create custom words and greetings. I stamped the word “together” using Basic Black Archival ink on a piece of white card stock then trimmed the squares in one row to finish the sentiment.

Here’s a look at all of the hues available in the new In Color Color Collection by Stampin’ Up! Find more inspiration using these colors by clicking through the blog hop using the links below.

I love your card and how you used the Sheltering Tree as the background. I have that set and will keep that tip. The large sentiment with the ruched ribbon makes it perfect. TFS
