Pine Bough Textured Impressions Embossing Folder is one of my favorite products from the Holiday Catalog by Stampin’ Up! This lovely image is displayed front and center on today’s card. Can you see why I love it so much? The image is well-balanced and can add just the right amount of texture to an otherwise ordinary card.
Global Design Project challenge #GDP062 provided the inspiration for my simple card. A sketch like this is so versatile and can be used in so many different ways. It’s definitely a keeper.
Presents and Pinecones Designer Series Paper is the perfect match for the Pine Bough embossing folder. There are several designs that work, but I thought this one—used in the background—was just right. Just behind the focal point is a piece of Emerald Envy cardstock. This cool-green color has got to be my favorite of the current In-Color collection by Stampin’ Up! I just can’t get over it.
“Noel” was cut from Whisper White cardstock using Christmas Stockings Thinlits. The holly was also cut with these Thinlits and stamped with the Hang Your Stocking stamp set.
Finally, I hope you stop by Global Design Project challenge #GDP062. Check out other examples of this great sketch in use. Play along and show us your card too.
