InKing Royalty Tricked Out Treats Blog Hop

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s September Blog Hop! Today’s Tricked Out Treats Blog Hop is filled with spooky, fun projects for Halloween. We are excited to share our creations with you today and hope these projects inspire you. After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Candy Treat Tubes by Stampin' Up!

Hi everyone! I wanted to share one of my favorite items in this year’s Holiday Catalog and if you’re a subscriber to Paper Pumpkin, you’ll remember these Treat Tubes from Halloween last year. I loved these tubes so much, I ordered extra when they were released with Paper Pumpkin. Needless to say, I’m so glad they’ve made a comeback and anyone can buy them from this year’s Holiday Catalog.

I decorated the Treat Tubes with a simple tag. I embossed “Trick or Treat” from the Spooky Cat stamp set using white Stampin’ Emboss powder over Basic Black cardstock. With that set, I was able to stamp the spider web around the sentiment and embossed it with clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Next I used the Layering Oval Framelits to cut the tag and a scalloped one to cut an orange layer which was glued underneath. A little hole punch and some Vintage Crochet Trim finish the tag.

These were so easy to make, you can quickly have many of them ready to pass out to your favorite trick-or-treaters, classmates or co-workers.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Lynn Kolcun at Avery’s Owlery. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!

I love these, Shawn! When I looked from my iPhone this morning, I couldn’t see that you had that background sentiment – only saw the white embossed. I love it more now that I see it. Such a great project! You do such amazing things with “clean and simple.” <3
