Welcome to InKing Royalty’s December Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by popular songs. This month’s song is “Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.” As you can guess, our Blog Hop today is filled with projects that are inspired by beautiful paper and beautiful ribbons. How clever! We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
When I think of pretty paper and pretty ribbons, of course pretty packages come to mind. That’s why I’m sharing these fun pillow box presents that are perfect for last-minute wrapping and giving.
I cut strips of Designer Series Paper to 1 1/4″ x 6 1/4″ and wrapped belly bands around each box. The next step is the fun part. I didn’t limit myself to just one stamp set or collection of supplies. Dig through your stash and find all the bits and bobs you enjoy.
Stamp some images, color, cut and play. Why would you do this if it wasn’t enjoyable? Stick a few items to each belly band and ta-da! Gift-giving magic.
These pillow boxes are perfect for gift cards, show tickets, candy, jewelry and other pocket-sized presents. They’re quick and easy to put together and give little gifts a big pop of fun.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Jennifer Spiller at Westside Paper Creations. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!
