Welcome to InKing Royalty’s September Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by a single word, and this month our projects are centered around Autumn. There is so much to love about the transition from summer to winter, and we are excited to share our Autumn-themed projects with you today!
After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
Today I’m sharing a great little suite from Stampin’ Up!: Come Gather Together. This suite has a great collection of stamps, dies, paper and embellishments in a bold new color palette for fall.
A fun technique you can try with this suite or any other in your collection, is to stamp directly onto Designer Series Paper.
For my card, I stamped the leaf with Cajun Craze ink on a lightly-colored designer paper. I wasn’t shy and overlapped the image a couple of times while stamping off the ink to make lighter impressions too.
I also stamped the splatter image onto the edges of the gingham paper with Pretty Peacock ink. When that was totally dry I sponged a little more ink onto the gingham so that my white embossing would be easier to read.
Some Cajun Craze twine and a tone-on-tone leaf were added for extra embellishment. All-in-all, this was a simple card to make, but it was also a lot of fun to stamp, sponge, emboss, glue and tie all of it together.

Did you know you can buy the whole bundle with one click? Click on the image above to take you to the Suite Bundle.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Jennifer Spiller at Westside Paper Creations. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group and you don’t want to miss it!
Oh, and don’t forget to pick up a FREE package of Designer Series Paper when you buy three. Select paper only; see them here.
