Welcome to InKing Royalty’s October Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by a single word and this month our projects are centered around Spooky. With Halloween just around the corner, we are excited to share our spooky, fun projects with you, our neighbors, coworkers and family. We’re excited to share our creations with you today!
After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Spooky or too cute? I can’t decide with this monster from the Boo to You stamp set by Stampin’ Up!
I stamped this little guy over Pumpkin Pie cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored him using Pumpkin Pie and Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Blends. Because the paper is already orange, I only added several diagonal strokes to shade his belly and color his horns.
A White Stampin’ Chalk Marker adds a few highlights to his polka dots and toenails. Spooky.

Using Hand-Lettered Prose dies, I spelled out “boo” on Basic Black Cardstock and stuck another Pumpkin Pie piece behind it. This helped our fun fiend to stand out against a batty piece of Designer Series Paper.
Now for a confession… I added a little sparkle by dotting glue on the black card and sprinkling Shimmer Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder over it. I thought I was using glitter (uh boy), but I still can’t tell, so it worked!
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Ann Murray at Murray Stamps Ink. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group and you don’t want to miss it!
