Koala Birthday Card with Stampin' Up!

There are so many reasons to celebrate throughout the year. That’s why the January–June Mini Catalog is full of products to help you do just that.

Today I’m sharing a fun birthday card using products from the Birthday Bonanza Suite including the Bonanza Buddies stamp set, Bonanza Dies and Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper.

Let's Celebrate You with Stampin' Up!
This card is simple to make for the Casual Stamper. You will need a die-cutting machine to use the dies and a little patience to line up the stamps.

This card comes together rather easily. When 2-step stamping—like the koala—it’s best to stamp the darker ink first. Start with the nose and eyes using black ink, then stamp the body with the lighter Smoky Slate ink. You’ll be able to clearly see the face through the photopolymer stamp.

Where the stamps match dies exactly, you should stamp first, die-cut later. Since the banners don’t have a stamp that fits it, you should cut the banners first, then stamp over them.

I used Stampin’ Dimensionals on the koala, but glued the other pieces flat.
